Tim holds NRVTA/RVTAA Advanced RV Technician Certification and NRVTA/RVTAA Advanced Solar Certification, with certified training from Aqua-Hot (AIRXCEL), Victron Energy and Firefly Integrations.
His background also includes experience in the HVAC industry, bringing familiarity with climate-control systems and the customer-side process of diagnosing problems, evaluating options and making repair or replacement decisions.
After experiencing RV ownership from the customer side, Tim built Gaining Ground around a simple approach: bring capable, methodical service directly to the RV, diagnose before replacing parts, explain what was found, and discuss additional work before proceeding.
